All Grades Based on:Introductory AssessmentStudents will explore the leaders who controlled during World War II. Specifically, students will focus on how they gained power and familiarize themselves with the images of who the major leaders were and what they did during the beginning stages of the Interwar period. Students do not need to understand all the information immediately, but have a somewhat firm grasp on the leaders.
Summative AssessmentAll parts of the section will incorporate the lecture and guided notes. The notes will be graded and handed back to the students in an appropriate time. They will have a quiz later to test their knowledge on the subject.

Formative AssessmentThis section will help students to understand the topic through quizzing themselves on the leaders and what they did during their control of their respective countries. Along with the lecture and graded notes, they will take a quiz to help them retain the information needed to complete the assignment.
Final AssessmentThe final project will incorporate an essay based on the leader of the students choice. Also, a presentation on the leader the student chooses. All students may choose to do a presentation on your own or as a small group of 2-3 students. All elements will be incorporated into the final grade for the unit. Including, the notes, peer reviewed essays, final papers, and presentation.
